Pro Box CCTV Cameras

Box cameras are a basic kind of camera, with the most popular model being a plastic or cardboard box that has a lens on one end and film at the other. The cameras were sold in massive quantities in the latter part of the 19th century and the early 20th century. The lenses are usually single element designs, meniscus fixed-focus lenses or in higher quality box cameras, a doublet with a few (if any) potential adjustments to the shutter speed or aperture. Due to the inability to adjust the focus, the tiny aperture of the lens, as well as the limited sensitivity of lenses, the cameras are best used in brightly lit daylight scenes where the subject is within hyperfocal range of the lens and in subjects who aren't moving when exposing. Later, box cameras equipped with shutter, flash, and aperture adjustment were developed, which allowed indoor photographs.

Purpose

The Kodak camera, introduced in 1888, was the first camera in a box that was widely accepted by the public, and its design evolved into the standard for the box camera models that were introduced by a variety of manufacturers. The flexibility of roll film meant the cameras were lightweight and mobile and could be operated without the burden of tripods, and the problems with photographic plates made of glass that were common to professional cameras. Prior to the advent of Kodak, photographers were accountable for arranging the arrangements themselves for developing as well as printing their images. The first Kodak was preloaded with film. The customer took the camera back to Kodak to be processed and then be reloaded with film by the client. In 1900, a Yale plate box camera cost US$2 (about $62.00 in 2020 dollars). And a Kodak roll box for film retailed for $1 (about $31.00 for 2020 dollars)
